"One of the most wonderful experiences at H3 is the supportive environment that’s created there. The culture of the program promotes socialization and networking among the Guests – and I found that getting to know and understand how others live and deal with their weight has been very beneficial to me in managing my own." - Deniese C, North Carolina
The episodes of A&E's weight loss docudrama, HEAVY, that were filmed here at Hilton Head Health featured the H3 Extended and Intensive experience.

For many people, H3 EI is a clearly preferred option over bariatric surgery - due to the positive results of H3 EI at less cost with no dangerous side effects. That said, people who lose a large amount of weight quickly are at greater risk of developing gallstones than those who lose weight at a slower pace. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, rapid weight loss may also cause silent gallstones (painless gallstones) to become symptomatic.
