Program Staff

Bob Wright, M.A.T. - Director of Education

Bob is the Director of Education at Hilton Head Health.  His goal is to provide Guests with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions on personal health habits.  Bob presents lectures focused on nutrition, weight loss management and disease prevention.  Bob has been educating Guests at Hilton Head Health for over 30 years.  He holds a Master's degree in Health Education from the University of South Carolina.

Lisette Cifaldi, MSW, LMSW - Director of Behavioral Health

Lisette is Hilton Head Health's Director of Behavioral Health.  Lisette provides individual and group counseling on the mind-body connection, covering topics ranging from stress management to body image.  A Lowcountry native, Lisette earned her degrees in Psychology and Social Work from the University of South Carolina while also receiving training in Mind/Body medicine from Harvard Mind/Body Medical Institute.  Her diverse experiences in business travel, management and privately owned businesses not only give Lisette a professional background that relates to many, but also a personal one.  

David Chesworth, B.S., ACSM - Fitness Specialist

David is responsible for group fitness classes and personal training sessions.  David graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and a Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches School of Coaching.  David’s experience includes BGSU Strength Conditioning Assistant Coach.

Camila Pacheco, B.A., IFTA, ACE - Fitness Specialist

Camila is responsible for group fitness classes and personal training sessions.  Camila graduated from Unitri with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Social Communications.  Originally from Brazil, she began her dance training and was part of a company at a competitive level.  After moving to the US in 2006, Camila continued her training as a Dance Instructor in New York City and Charlotte.  She has over seven years' experience teaching all different styles of dance including Zumba, Barre and Hip Hop.  She is a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer through IFTA and ACE.  She is also a certified TRX Trainer.

Lindsay Martin, M.S., R.D. - Dietitian

Lindsay is Hilton Head Health's Registered Dietitian.  She is responsible for menu development, as well as facilitating nutrition lectures and providing private meal planning and nutrition consultations.  Lindsay earned both her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and her Master's degree in Dietetics from Ball State University.  She is a member of the American Dietetic Association.

Chris Varano, B.S., AFPA - LOSE Well Fitness Coach

A graduate of Western Michigan University, Chris has been influential in the fitness industry for over 15 years.  She was the fitness coordinator for Greenville Hospital Systems, where she oversaw day-to-day operations including cardiac rehabilitation.  She's made her mark as a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and group exercise leader.  Chris joined Hilton Head Health in 2005 and became a full-time trainer in the LOSE Well program in 2014.  She's logged thousands of hours helping guests shed pounds through customized cardio, strength and core conditioning classes.

Linda Lisko, NETA, PHI Pilates, AHF, WaterFit - Pilates and Group Exercise Instructor

Linda has been teaching a variety of classes at H3 since 2005.  She is professionally certified through National Exercise Trainers Association, PHI Pilates, Academy of Holistic Fitness and WaterFit.  She is a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and is skilled at developing and teaching classes in Mat Pilates and Pilates Reformer, Yoga, Aerobics, Kickboxing, Interval/Circuit, Strength Training, Stability Ball and Water Aerobics.  She has constructed individual and group wellness programs that integrate a variety of techniques including mind/body enhancement, lifestyle management, goal setting, and motivation.

Alex Santa - Program Guide

Alex is one of the Program Guides at Hilton Head Health.  He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Management from the University of Florida.  His creative background and interpersonal communication skills help maximize the guest experience.  Alex has created a strong recreation program that delivers fun new ways to approach the H3 lifestyle.

Dot Young - Program Administration

Dot is the Program Administrative Assistant.  She plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations in Program Services.  Dot is responsible for distributing the daily and weekly schedules.  She has been been part of the H3 family for over 15 years.  She holds a B.S. degree in Office Administration and Management from South Carolina State University.


Chef Hicham Elmadi - Executive Chef

Born and Raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Chef Hicham has been in love with cooking since childhood.  After graduating from culinary school in 1998, he worked in fine restaurants around the world, including Spain, Italy, and France.  Fluent in five languages, he eventually moved to the US to join the exciting Atlanta culinary scene.  Chef Hicham specializes in preparing all styles of Mediterranean cuisine, including, of course, Moroccan fare.  His expertise and skills are uniquely suited to share his enthusiasm for healthy, natural food prepared from locally sourced, sustainable ingredients.

Chef Karla Williams -

Chef Karla provides cooking demonstrations and leads hands-on classes.  In addition, she teaches part-time fitness classes.  Karla holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Science and is a graduate from The Chef's Academy in Indianapolis, Karla's past experience includes Culinary Intern here at H3, as well as Sous Chef at Kona Grill in Carmel, Indiana.

Chef Marvis Hinson - Chef Educator

Chef Marvis is Hilton Head Health's Chef Educator.  She provides cooking demonstrations and leads hands-on cooking classes.  She is a Certified Educator from the American Culinary Federation, Inc.  As Program Director for the Culinary Institute of Savannah Technical College for more than 25 years, she provides an excellent experience of food selection and handling skills, practical menu suggestions and cooking techniques.  Chef Marvis has won numerous awards in the areas of service, education and culinary competitions through local, regional and national organizations.  

Anthony Triceri - Food and Beverage Manager

Anthony graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Human Services.  Since then he's worked extensively in the food and beverage industry, most recently in fine-dining restaurants ranging from contemporary French to regional Italian.  His extensive training in wine and mixology has landed him Hilton Head Island's "Best Cocktail" at the Wine and Food Festival and Concours d'Elegance.  He specializes in the California, Italian and French wine producing regions.  His role as F&B Manager keeps him involved in the day-to-day operations of the Healthy Kitchen and H3 Dining Room.

Jill Boyd - Director of Culinary Development

Originally from Philadelphia, Jill worked in all aspects of culinary operations and management before moving to Hilton Head in 2002 to open her own restaurant with her aunt and uncle.  The result, Michael Anthony's, has been ranked as one of the top 50 Italian restaurants in the US.  As owner/general manager, Jill grew the business to include a successful cooking school, gourmet food market, and even a cookbook.  Looking for a new challenge, she joined H3 in 2014 to use her extensive knowledge to help develop exciting new healthy culinary programs.


John Schmitz, M.H.S.A. - Owner

John is the Owner of Hilton Head Health and has provided leadership for the organization’s development as a serious weight loss destination. He has also been successful in his personal efforts with weight loss and lifestyle modification and serves as an inspiration to many guests. John has held various national and international positions with private and publicly traded healthcare companies and holds a Master’s of Health Service Administration from Arizona State University.

Jessica Brantley - General Manager

Jessica is the General Manager at Hilton Head Health.  A team member with H3 for almost a decade, Jessica’s held positions in our Program as well as management in several areas of operations.  She now oversees daily operations and program development.  With a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the Honors College of Ball State University, Jessica is a certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine, a certified Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor, and a Functional Training Specialist.

Adam Martin - Brand Manager

Adam is the Brand Manager at Hilton Head Health.  Adam graduated from the University of Florida and has been with Hilton Head Health since the Fall of 2005.  He's held numerous positions in the company and is now responsible for helping facilitate H3's growth.

Kelly Milgie - Guest Relations Manager

Kelly earned her Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services with a double concentration in Commercial and Community Recreation and a minor in Management from Central Michigan University.  As Hilton Head Health's Guest Relations Manager she oversees the guest services and transportation services.  She also coordinates and supplies the merchandise for our FIT Shop and manages the scheduling of spa services and spa development.
