A Healthy Valentine
Give the Gift of  HEALTH to Your Valentine

This time of year, love is in the air, as you think of your “special someone” and ponder just what will show them how much you love, care, honor, and respect them.
 
The common gifts come to mind – a dozen red roses, a box of chocolate, and of course… diamonds.  But what gift says more about how much you care than a gift that centers on health and wellbeing!  A pedometer, a new pair of tennis shoes, or an exercise ball are all great ideas, but you can also jazz it up a bit! 
 
Gents, how about scheduling a few sessions of dance lessons with your lovely Lady – ballroom, salsa, line dancing – or spice it up another way with some private cooking lessons!  Ladies, sign your man up for some personal training sessions or private golf lessons. 
 
If you’re a couple who likes to share the gift together, go to www.active.com  to search for fitness events in your area – train for a 5K (3.1 miles) or a bike tour together.  If you’re looking for bigger and bolder ideas, what about arranging a hiking trip or even joining us in March for H3I’s Next Level Fitness specialty week! 
 
Taking care of your personal health shows that you care for those close to you – they depend on you, and your health, and a Healthy YOU is the only way to be the best you can be.  I can’t think of a better gift than one that allows one to focus on their personal wellbeing.
