Our B Healthy residential bariatric program provides a temptation-free environment for you to immerse yourself in healthy eating and exercise while learning the skills necessary to find success at home.

Join us for a week or more of B Healthy and discover the motivation, knowledge, skills, and confidence you need for sustainable weight management. Our team of professional dietitians, psychologists, fitness instructors, chefs, yoga masters, and health coaches work collaboratively, resulting in a comprehensive plan that produces results.

Baseline Health and Fitness Assessments

Initial Health Screening: Weight, body measurements, BMI, resting heart rate, resting blood pressure, and a lipid profile.
Functional Movement Screening: FMS uses seven different fundamental actions to assess a client’s overall body movement – it is used to measure posture, symmetry, and the risk of injury within the joints and muscles of the body.

On-site Exercise Prescription: Private session with a bariatric coach to assess fitness level, restrictions, preferences, and goals with the objective of personalizing the guest’s fitness plan during their stay At-home Exercise Prescription: Private session with a certified personal trainer at the end of the guests’ stay to develop an exercise plan for home complete with print-outs of illustrated fitness routines that include necessary modifications Daily group fitness options modified to accommodate all levels of fitness include cardiovascular exercise, strength training, flexibility and stretching, yoga, and aqua fitness.

Hilton Head Health recognizes that all bariatric procedures alter the anatomy and physiology of the gastrointestinal tract which can make recipients of bariatric surgery more susceptible to developing nutritional complications such as deficiencies of macro- and micro-nutrients. Meet with our Registered Dietician to evaluate your knowledge of specific nutritional concerns and discuss a strategy.
