One tequila, two tequila, three tequila... floor. What's a Cinco de Mayo Celebration without a Margarita? And yes, this recipe does have alcohol. But, we've found some creative ways to keep all the flavor yet lose some of the calories. So, here's a sweet (and potentially spicy) Margarita that clocks in at only 110 calories per serving!
Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita Recipe by Executive Chef Karla Williams
1/2 cup Pineapple, large chunks
1/2 ounce Tequila
1/2 ounce Triple sec
2 slices each Jalapeno
1/2 cup Sparkling water
2 slices each Lime, sliced
- In a blender combine; pineapple, tequila, and triple sec, puree until smooth.
- In a shaker combine sliced jalapeno and lime, muddle.
- Pour pineapple mixture over muddled jalapeno and add ice. Shake.
- Pour margarita
Chef’s Note: The more the jalapeno is muddled the spicier the margarita will be.
