What is Pickleball and How Do You Play It?
Pickleball can be played with either two or four people. The goal is to hit the ball with a racquet over a net and try to get the ball past your opponent to score a point. The game is similar to tennis, but it is played on a smaller court and with a lighter ball. This game really makes for a fun and easy way to get some exercise and stay active.
Here are the basic rules of pickleball:
- The game is played with a paddle and a plastic ball.
- You hit the ball over the net to your opponent.
- Your opponent must hit the ball back to you.
- If the ball hits the ground, you get a point.
- The first person to 11 points wins the game.
- If you hit the ball out of bounds, your opponent gets the point.
