Learn More About Fit Bottomed Girls

Fit Bottomed Girls began as a single blog with a tongue-in-cheek play on a Queen song and is now an online body positive phenomenon reaching millions of women (and men!) each month through its website, podcast, social media presence and special events.

Kristen Seymour, co-owner of Fit Bottomed Girls, will be one of your hosts at this retreat. She and her business partner, Jennipher Walters (who will join in via Skype) create, co-host, edit and dream of a world where fit bottoms come in all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. With extensive experience in both fitness and journalism, these well-known influencers can regularly be found standing on soapboxes to promote body positivity, coaching clients to discover their full potential and telling it like it is when it comes to being healthy. Certified in triathlon, swimming, and TRX, Kristen believes strongly in helping people overcome the barriers that would otherwise keep them from trying a new workout or sport.

Alison Heilig has long been an integral part of the Fit Bottomed Girls team, and as co-host of this retreat, she’ll share her passion for helping others live more empowered, fulfilling, and awesome lives. As a yoga teacher, certified personal trainer, women’s fitness specialist, and corrective exercise specialist, as well as both a running coach and CrossFit coach, Alison is excited to help guests learn to better understand and work with their bodies -- and how to push past their self-limiting limits. She is the creator of a unique line of online yoga videos called Yoga for Durability and her first book, The Durable Runner, is expected to be published later this year.
